Murph won't be going to Essendon*. Even if he wanted to, he won't be going.

No way known would they announce Roos as being on the books. They'd effectively be signing up for a 16 week circus.

To me it looks like a bunch of re-signings, perhaps a sponsorship announcement?

I would have thought Murph would sign once the CBA was done so he's comfortable he hasn't sold himself short (which is totally reasonable and expected on his part). But maybe there's some sort of 'in principle' agreement they will announce to quell the b/s speculation.


But anyway - just from a PR/Comms perspective, you don't raise expectations in that way if the news is bad. So look forward to a pleasant surprise!
