Lyon nominated Carlton captain Chris Judd as a major threat but said the Blues generally were premiership material.

"They're playing with endeavour, hardness and system and they're a young, hungry group," he said.

"They'll see us as an opportunity to continue to further grow that momentum."

"They're a top-four team, they're virtually grand-final talent ... and they're where we want to be."

Is a bloody good coach & spent 3 years at Carlton before being assistant to Roos in the 2005 premiership

A lot of positive talk about us this week yet many in the media picking the Saints purely on hope IMO....we are hated with a passion and I love it....will have no negative affect on our performance this week....we will pummel the Saints.... :thumbsup: :grin: :smoking:

Saints lose and it's an honourable loss against a genuine contender, Saints win and it's hailed as a win against the odds.
