I read an interesting stat in the paper today. We rank number one in the league for kicking efficiency and also the lowest in the league for clangers. This surprised me, but is a good reminder to think outside a few high profile stuff ups (I am looking at you Simmo).
Top 4 in the league were us, bombers, pies and the cats so we are in good company. The Crows were shocking at both efficiency and clangers.

No it actually makes you wonder why posters keep hanging shite on the development and improvement of the players.

It strikes of being the engraved bias of posters toward certain players and Coaches.

Whilst our skills are improving, kicking eff % can sometimes be misleading. We've had more backwards kicks than any other side so you'd think every backwards kick that hits a target (including Waite's) would be at 100%.

Another factor can be what is an efficient kick? Smashing it long to a forward contest - which we've been criticised for doing too often - from memory also ranks at 100% provided the opposition doesn't mark the kick.

some good points you have made, cheapies are easy to achieve - its when you want to take the game on and challenge teh opposition with your skills, thats when you risk turning it over. At times we are too content with the chaep kick rathe than being aggressive and move the ball quickly through the corridr.
