The article is way too soft on Carlton. That game was a win for Essendon* and a loss for Carlton.

Yep, we did lose and they did win out of that game.

We lost 2 premiership points and they won 2 premiership points.

There is no such thing as a moral victory.

In Round 1 Brisbane Had a "moral victory" over Freo.

Take a look at the ladder, Freo have 12 points and Brisbane have NONE.
