One thing you could never ever doubt with Cousins was the effort he put towards his football. He may have got smashed beyond belief in between games and training sessions but when it was time to rumble he put everything into it.

I guess that's why he was made captain in the first place.

I'd rate cousins as amongst the best gut runners I've seen - a fantastic player. One wonders what levels he might have achieved had he not partied so hard off field!
