Good news - not that I am too worried about the Gold Coast.
I was concerned however over the small possibility that he would get 2 weeks and miss the Pies clash.

close call, now pull your head in, Jarrad!

Rance gets what he deserved imo! watch the footage and you can see that he watches Jarrad coming at him then moves into his line and hits him solidly. dog act and 4 weeks is fine

Very very lucky. Despite getting off he now has a well earned reputation as an idiot with a short fuse - can expect a lot more provocation on field and I doubt anyone would be confident that he can handle it.

Watched the replay today.

From the footage, Anthony Hudson had Waite guilty and Rance "should have no case to answer due to clash of heads"

If you look at the Waite footage, Mcguane pushes Waite forward and he was somewhat off balance.

MRP got both assessments right

Richmond mates of mine were hoping Rance got weeks.... they were afraid he would still get a game otherwise.

Should have been cited for being stupid.

Had to laugh at Waitey's back kick though. More suprised than anything that McGuane didn't even flinch! Questions must be asked.

Some good fortune for Waitey but he does seem to be a bit of a ticking time bomb.

Very lucky Waitey, what a stupid thing to do.

Funnily enough, the one commentator who helped us out with this one was Matthew Lloyd, who said on the coverage that Waite should have nothing to worry about.

I think he is just trying to show a bit of aggression in a team that on the whole needs more of it. He just needs to be smarter about how he does it. That little back kick isn't really going to win back respect for our club as a physical side.
