Perhaps even fourth if we're reasonably lucky with injuries. My kids reckon top four, for sure. Guy at work thinks we'll miss the eight, but my mum reckons we'll make the Grand Final. All of these opinions hold exactly the same amount of weight as some bloke from the Herald Sun called Robbo, some bloke who played football 25 years ago, and some bloke who works as a journalist and sees four Carlton games a year but thinks that bloke Gartlett goes ok. |

They must have us confused with Ninthmond. I have Carlton pulling out some real surprises this year and finishing third. Optimistic? Maybe, but I believe it will be a big year, a huge year. St Kilda and Collingwood will challenge again. Hawthorn is being over rated, I believe they have more gaps than the Blues. Your top 50 is usually pretty good John but I thought you had Luke O'Sullivan a bit high at 27. Just my opinion though. |

First half of last season we were top 5, in the second half of the season we were bottom 5. Who knows where we'll finish? |

Do you know I was speaking to a friend of a sister of a cousin's uncle's nephew's picture on the wall with ice melted on the floor and a fish gasping 'Romeo Romeo wherefore art thou Romeo' while sawing a table in half to create a hole so James Hird could get his head onto the ground and she told me we'd finish somewhere between last and first though not necessarily in that order. |

I am hoping top four BMjnr just wants us to win a final My ex who barracks for Carlton is confused. She wants Carlton to win a premiership but because she hates me want us to win a wooden spoon cause she knows it will make me miserable And the guy at the Gym still thinks I barrack for Collingwood |

My dad just wants to see us play a final in Melbourne for the first time in years and doesn't care where in the 8 we finish as long as we play in September in Melbourne. I want us to make the preliminary and think we should finish 6th. |

 Great thread John.The 'new social media' is steadily stripping down the credibility and influence of the less than thorough 'journalist'. It's amazing how far humankind has come from the old days of simply swallowing what we were told by the old media. |

Catch JohnM on Sports Today Tuesday and Thursday, on the Run home with Francis and Ox on Monday and Wednesday, on AFL 360 on Foxtel on Wednesday night, on On The Couch when Mike is crook, on 3AW pre Game saturday, and on Triple M Pre Game sunday. And out the the front of the G suckin down a durry every quarter, half and 3/4 time break... |
