Assuming my membership stuff arrives in time, can I expect to rock up to the game against Richmond with a Silver Membership and walk in, or will I need to reserve a ticket? Anyone else getting a bit excited that season is so close. ![]() |

$35 for a reserved seat isn't it? It's not going to be a full house, but the members area might be a struggle. Get in earlyish and you'll be fine; it's Thursday night after all. |

If you are a Spirit of Carlton member you just have to pay $35 and you get. - reserved seat - access to the Ron Barassi room where you can rub shoulders with past players. Jimmy Buckley will be MC, there will be raffles, auction items and past player interviews - drinks at bar prices before game at half time and after the game - complimentary finger food at half time If you are an SOC member and interested call Justine on 0438 271 948 between 9am and 5pm. If you are not an SOC member please consider becoming one, only $70 and you get some of the benefits of being a corporate or coterie member without paying out big money. This is a great option for those members who miss the old social club. Don't forget the majority of the money you put into the Spirit of Carlton ends up directly benefiting the club. |

(I think the costs for reserving a seat when you already have a general admin membership are a @#$%&! rort too) Just get there earlyish or send someone in early to bag some seats. |

Get early for a good seat - but it wont be a lock-out These days I just pay for reserved seats for home and away games to be safe, especially for Etihad games |

Thanks for the tips. I'll be driving from Canberra on the day, so unless anything untoward happens on the way I should be able to get there early-ish. ![]() |

We have silver memberships and are going to book a reserve seat. It cost about $13 from memory to book the seat, as your membership gets you into the ground. There will be a big crowd and Andy Maher this morning said that there is a good chance the game will be shown live. Good luck, |

Premium reserved seating is sold out but general reserved seating still available. |

How annoying is it that we can't get level 3 seats yet?? All it's showing up is M3 which is almost directly behind goal on level 1. Would much prefer level 3 on the wingish (the members area). Anyone know when they go on sale? Or is it only if it's a fully ticketed game? As for the sold out tickets, wouldn't worry, they'll release more next week. They always do that so people snap up shit tickets first as they see the game is nearly sold out before releasing new ones. |

Blue Beatle, Mrs Sombrero and I have visitors passes to the members thanks to Beatle's son. Flying out Thurs and back to Tassie on Fri. Very civilized. Not like the other year when we got a going over by the ferals when they got up unexpectedly. |

Not to gloat, but this is the reason why I signed up for an AFL Membership (with club support). Get to see every Carlton H&A game with reasonable seats including finals and also get to watch some other games of interest. It came in handy booking for the Rd 2 Gold Coast game. |

Does anyone know if it will be possible to buy a membership outside the ground on the night? |

Probably be easier if you buy your membership online now and just pick up your card at the ground. Less hassle, that's what I want to do, does anyone know if it's possible? Don't want to be in a situation where the club mails it to me and it's in the mail but hasn't arrived by gameday. |

I went to the ground before Rd 2 and guess what the wernt there again - they gave me tickets and I said if I dont have by Rd 3 I am cancelling my membership and all my kids ones as well Thankfully they got it to me by Rd 3 PS - my membership wasnt like I just joined up as I have mine automtically renewed each yaer hence my frustration |

If you're worried about a seat and know an afl member who supports another team, do what I did - get them to buy you a reserved seat for $6. ![]() |

As long as your AFL Member friend is prepared to lose their membership ticket if you're signature checked. |

TruBlueBrad wrote: As long as your AFL Member friend is prepared to lose their membership ticket if you're signature checked. The $6 reserved tickets are purchased through Ticketmaster and emailed as a PDF. No need to scan the membership card. The actual part that gets scanned doesn't have his name on it, so it's unlikely they'd check beyond that I would have thought?? |
