Cheers Uncle J.

Did our boys go to Egypt over the break? We seem to do a lot of Bangles poses when we kick the ball.

Great pics.

Hammer really looked like he was monstering them in the ruck duels.

As mentioned in the match thread, Jeffrey G. provided plenty of entertainment for those of us lucky enough to attend.
Here's a sample for those who couldn't be there .......

That piece of play, while full of individual brilliance, took us from smack bang in the centre of the ground to way out on the right wing, resulting in a rubbish angle in the ensuing shot on goal, which I think was missed. That's one of the times where he needed to side step and look back inside, IMO.

Great to watch though.

Great to watch though.

Importantly he didn't bomb it and he kept possession of the ball in Carlton hands.

Damn impressive and I'm getting use to him doing that sort of thing every game.

Uncle John, you are a remarkable man/ photographer.
We should bottle you.

Of course I'd agree with you if it was an in season match.
He pounced like a slinky bob cat. Brilliant.

Can we set up a play where Yarran has to chase down Garlett.

That would be something to see.

He had Mackie beat and would have straightened up but Mackie clipped him on the ankles giving away a professional free. Garlett the regained his footing and got around him anyway but by then the holes inside fifty were filled and the leads were wide. When he first took off there were not many options ahead either.
Not sure you could blame him that we ended up with an angle shot at goal. Was a good contest.

It was great to watch and give Garlett a big clap. I gave Mackie a clap for playing his role of the loser so well also.

I clapped it, but Simmo was running through the corridor and could have changed the dynamic a bit. Jeff looks inside often enough though, and his game was fantastic overall. Just constructive criticism.
