Very interesting comments about 206.

What I saw of 206 last Saturday Night I think the message got through quite significantly - dare I say he was quite "Kreuzeresque" in his second efforts and ability to work his way to the second and third contest after a ruck contest.

If this is the effect that Leading Teams is having - then I like it.

Nope, no comments there. KH might be referring to adjoining article in the paper itself.

A quote from the paper today;
"Through Leading Teams the players have had a big say with him (Warnock). He was tending to go through the motions and float a bit. We knew he had a lot to offer and could play a vital rote if he pulled his finger out. He showed some great signs late last year."
Interesting.

Ah, cheers Jimmae. Don't have the paper, and I can't fnid the other article online.

Something to do with 206 being told he needs more 2nd efforts I am presuming?

Enough of the talk, enough of the newspaper stories, enough of the "leadership aspirations". Bryce has elite skill and talent. He is wasted cruising for easy kicks at half back. Hopefully we will be true to our word and play him in the middle. all I want from him is to watch his fellow 2006 draft alumnus Joel Selwood and be that tough at the ball. if he can do that he will undoubtedly be more than a really gifted player, he will be a star and a leader, and we will be finals bound. No doubt he has the talent, but he has to get his hands dirty in the clinches

I would rather see him do the stuff that he is good at and was recruited for, he will never be a Joel Selwood in an under type.

+1, Gerry.

C'mon Bryce, "pull your finger out" and starting WINNING some matches for us, this is what being an elite of the comp is all about.

Anyway, at least he's aiming high.

I saw him in the carpark outside Woolworths @ Moonee Ponds a few weeks ago. He's an absolute beast right now. Thick through the shoulders and neck. Some people seem to move powerfully when they walk, if that makes sense. He definitely looked that way.

Physically there doesn't look to be anything that would be holding him back. He's set.

Seems like the pre season collecting trolleys has done wonders for him.

Quote:
It is easy to forget he was just 17 when thrust into a leadership role in his first season with Carlton in 2007. Looking back he knows it should never have happened, although he knows it helped fast-track him to where he sits today.
