The structure of this year's pre-season cup had some Blueseum users scratching their heads... Didn't we do something like this in the 90's? Did we win or lose? Unfortunately I only remember the pre-season comp especially the opening game when Alan Thorpe had a night out. Based on how 1995, the big 3 should have had Richmond ahead of Collingwood on performance. But if you want a crowd............. |

I was at Waverley that day, don't remember anything except a 16 year old kid named Lloyd taking a screamer in the 3rd game between the pies and dons. |

I can't remember that at all. I'm guessing in 2027 I won't remember this year's either. |

I remember listening to it on 3AW. Diesel Williams was giving special comments and the collingwood bloke who was taking the kick outs after a point was scored kept kicking to himself and playing on. Diesel then asked stats man Graeme Bond if it was counted as a stat if you played on after a point to which he was told that it was. Diesel then quipped that he was going to start taking all the kick outs and play on to build up his possession count. |
