Fairly good total for the end of January. You'd think if we have a good start to the season that we can double this figure come June. |

If we were in 3 grandfinals in 2 years like the no hopers at St.kilda then our membership would be 35000 at this time of the year,for some reason Carlton supporters dont rush to become members until Feb/March |

if you keep posting 3 times in 2 minutes you'll have 30k before Feb as well.

Considering we're competing for members in the Melbourne market with the other Melbourne-based clubs... Here's how our current membership tally compares.. 1. Coll'wood – 50,042 2. Hawthorn – 35,056 (+6530 Tassie members) 3. Essendon* - 34,2817 4. St Kilda - 27,242 5. Richmond - 27,141 6. Carlton – 25,017 7. Melbourne – 22,910 8. Western Bulldogs - 20,827 9. Nth Melb - 15,621 We're coming 6th out of 9! I thought we had one of the largest supporter bases?! Why aren't more supporter jumping on board? Especially when our on field future looks very bright?! |

Unless I missed it, I thought they would have had a membership tent set up today. i know they have a family day in a few weeks, but culd have got the ball rolling today. |

Pretty sure they get counted right away - I had to go to AFL House to pay for my AFL membership on Friday - and before any one asks why I left it to the last minute it was because I had to provide evidence in writing that I was a currently enrolled high school student to get the concession membership and our school office didnt reopen till Thursday. Anyway whilst I was there - looked inside to the admin room to the left of the counter and there was a Collingwood members Tally board showing over 50,000  (but like Sydney Blue said - I bet most of those are 3 game memberships, even Collingwood supporters would prefer to spend their money on their weekly supply of 1 x Carton of Horizon 50s, and 1 x Carton of Victoria Bitter rather than taking out an 18 game membership.
