Lets not assume every AFL player is producing a father son.

Tell that to Geelong fans.

So Sam Edmund huh!

The reasons are based a "quotes" from "a man involved in the negotiations". No direct sources from actual Carlton staff, or at least a little more concrete evidence.

I'm not saying it didn't happen as suggested, I just think their is also some serious doubt over the so called "evidence" presented.

It all looks quite bleak.

Betts ... dominant goal kicking small forward in the game.
Waite ... career best form ... absolutely killing them an Norf.
Garlett ... 40 goals last year for Melbourne.
Laidler ... holding down a position in arguable the best team in the comp.
Robinson ... B&F at Brisbane 2015.

Yarran? ... Henderson?

We really know how to give away talent ... We must be the Dumbest Club in the AFL.
Betts will play 100 for Adelaide ... the way Waite is travelling he might play another 3 or 4 years.
We won't get any father sons out of this lot.

And now we are getting more silliness from supporters ... Get rid of Gibbs etc .... lol

Why not get rid of all our talented players ... that's the way to operate .... and as a bonus we lose out an any possible father sons ... Brilliant.

We really are quite Richmondesque!

What goes around, comes around. I bet the very fact that we've refused to trade out players and truly rebuild in the past has led to the way we've handled players leaving in recent years. On the flip side of that, who would you prefer at the club going forward, Charlie Curnow or Henderson, Yarran or Harry Mckay (touch wood)? And yes, we do need to trade out someone of currency in the next two years, especially if we don't get any PPs coming our way.

I would prefer we were not dumb and over-reactive. That we would make good decisions.

Mostly ... we have lost out with our trades. Giving away talent players so that we can speculate is not necessarily the smartest thing to do. The top teams rarely lose their most talented players ... they build and build from the bottom. But not us ... if we don't have a superstar ... we trade them .... lol ... amateurs!!! :thanks: :banghead: :screwy: And we stuff up time and time again.

We have replaced Richmond as the laughing stock of the league.

We have earned the right to be where we are ... disgraceful!

And ... on top of that we lose out on possible Father-Sons.

Rebecca Judd is pregnant again, with twins. Apparently one is a boy.
WCE will be pleased with 2 potential father/sons.

If one of them's a girl can we draft her for the women's team under the father/daughter rule?

Haha, used to laugh a lot with Richmond mates calling him Fiona.

Heard Auskick a couple of times in completely different parts of the ground for Caleb Daniel on Saturday night...that gave me a chuckle

Thanks effes - my daughter follows Bec on Instagram but I've got no idea how to post the ultrasound photo.

Patrick Keane ‏@AFL_PKeane

AFL has given permission to train to Carlton for Jake Bradley (son of Craig) under the rules for prospective father-son players.

Good to hear we are giving him a chance. Rookie pick at worst.

If my hatred for that cauliflower Darren bewick ever faded over time it has popped up again. His son is called Jett. Training with the ** academy. cauliflower. cauliflower. Jett. Seriously, what a @#$%&! tool.
