Nostalgia spoiler alert....

Did you know we've only ever had 7 Carlton sons play more games of senior football than their 7 corresponding fathers?

Yes you are correct Bomba - history sometimes forgets the contribution of the Clarkes to Carlton.

Clark Snr's contribution more likely than Jnr;s

Some big names amongst the kids

http://www.carltonfc.com.au/news/newsar ... fault.aspx

Standing from left to right, Joel Madden (son of Justin),
Jordan Dorotich (son of Jon), Mitchell Gleeson (son of Adrian),
Jack Meldrum (son of Paul), Bailey Rice (son of Dean).

Kneeling are Billy Alvin (son of Tom), Charly Williams (son of Greg),
Joseph Sexton (son of Michael) and Jack Silvagni (son of Stephen).

Lets hope they all make it and follow in the footsteps of their fathers

Good pedigree, I woudl be rapt to get 2 - 3 of these to make the grade.

We would be the next Geelong if tehy all made the grade as good senior players, lets hope we get more ex players kids on board

Is it just for players who played 100 games or more, or is it for all ex Carlton players kids? (hopefully the latter)

The other two couldn't quite cut it.

This one looks to have plenty of his old man's determination.

Agree a great inititive by the Spirit of Carlton (SOC) - just need the club to start supporting the SOC - at the moment it seems to be a one way street.

This is easily (IMHO) the best initiative to come out of Carlton in the last 10 years. Love it.

Lets hope the Scotland footballing bloodlines continue, Heath's old man was a legend at Braybrook FC and clocked up a stack of B&F's and premierships at Braybrook.
