Bit of presure on Mitchell now that he's taken on No. 25... The boy could ve done with out the burden of wearing Fev's old number, but thems the breaks I guess...

A number is just a number - You make your own history in it. No extra pressure b/c of 25 - If we go down that path we become St Kilda and Richmond.

Having said that - the vacant numbers are

9
10
14
15
16-Probably won't be used this year - Saved for Dylan Buckley
20
25 - Mitchell
26
28
34 - Should rest for a year out of respect to the great man
35
37
39

I expect Ellard to move to a lower jumper.

Number 10 should be rested for an eternity.

Obviously Dylan Buckley won't be given no 16. Strange given they only had to hold it a year...

Best of luck to all the players.

Would be interested to know if Dylan was even offered his old man's number...and if so if he wanted it. Might step into Coach Ratten's old number 7 for season 2012.

I bet the Dominator would be rapt if the son of his great mate and old drinking partner Jimmy ends up with his famous no 7 jumper.....

Hopefully Dylan Buckley makes a great career in his own number. Like G Ablett Jnr.

Interesting that nobody will be wearing #7

Mitchell in 25, bit of pressure on the kid! Lets hope he makes it to 100 game cause the last two to make it were pretty exciting to watch...
