McLean needs to be kept fit. Ellard showed promise at the end of the season, and AJ/Robbo don't mind getting hammered.

Would like to see Cachia given some more ants senior experience too, regardless of form.

Irish warrior name.

One translation means "helpful warrior"

He played plenty of games last season?

I thought he spent a fair bit of time in the 2's. Could be wrong though.

Reckon we could do worse than turning up to play the Doggies with CONCHOBHAR and SETANTA - especially if he was allowed to bring his sliotar and hurley

http://www.askaboutireland.ie/learning- ... of-culann/

Then again let Setanta use his sliotar and hurley and I reckon we'd be hard to beat for anyone.

..fuggit, when he's ready put Krooz in the middle as the 'hard man'.. ..he goes in hard for the ball, and knows how to use his body/presence in the stoppages as well [could be our best bullocking type player]..

..edit.. -- ..otherwise, rotate Brock/Ellard/Walker/Russell..

I think this is the wrong question.

Grigg played 7-8 average games, some good; he could get better.

Hadley played 8 games for the year; some good, some pretty rubbish

McLean played 6 games for the year; some good, some ineffective

Chris Judd won the Brownlow.

Chris Judd is a better inside player than any of the players listed above and is a better outside player than anyone else on the list.

The question is more about how the midfield grouping can convert more clearances to positive scoring opportunities for the team. Does the loss of the former 2 hinder this? Umm,,, errrmmm,,, ..... probably not.

If Brock is fit then that's his role sorted.

If not Robbo and Ellard, although they are still a bit green and could do with a bigger tank.
