Apologies people - I'm not a user of Twitter so I can't send a link or source where this is being posted.... But I got word from a mate and apparently on Twitter (Carlton FC I think) they have just posted a comment along the lines of 'Word is that another Carlton player is to set to announce their retirement?' Any ideas? I'm thinking either Hadley or Thornton |

Any ideas? I'm thinking either Hadley or Thornton Hadley, Houlihan, Scotland, Fisher? All older/history with injuries. All out of contract. |

Has Scotland made it back from the USA where he is celebrating his 30th now rather than the footy season? He wouldn't be having an early party in the states with the view of not letting his Big 30th get in the way of his footy season and retire this early...but he may have caused some liver damage over there where he is anonymous and no one could give a shit if he got blind drunk on a cruise. I'd say Fisher will retire on 99; thanks Ratts. |

This is a big loss. It makes McLean's fitness all the more crucial. Expect Ellard and AJ to spend more time in the guts. Judd at the bottom of packs CANNOT be an option anymore. All the best Hads. Gave his all and got the most out of himself, and should serve as an example to some of our softer personnel. Any chance he might be interested in a coaching role with the ants? Or would he be keen to head back home? |

Shame, Highlights what a tool Grigg really is. Or should that be Griggs manager. Could have got the spot he wanted. Now Hads will enjoy his retirement and Grigg will suffer out his years with the hapless tigers. Damn stupid player manager. |

grrofunger wrote: body let him down badly Are you talking about Hadley and McLean. I really hope McLean has an injury free season in 2011, but I'm not overly optomistic. Bad Luck. Thanks Hads...pity you didn't taste your 2nd Flag with Judd and the 3 #1's at the Blues. |

Thanks for your efforts Hadds. Very unlucky with injury.......hard to beleive he only played 66 games ![]() And Grigg wouldn't have had any opportunities in the midfield ![]() |
