quick update from his interview this morning (Monday).....ie my interpretation is there will no no real surprises or Volcanoes!
laidler - deal likely, based on the assumption Geelong reasonable to deal with
Jacobs - deal likely to go through as predicted ie upgrade to 14 and 33
Walker - Port the only option.....but is welcome to stay if doesn't go through
No concrete interest in Setanta and Thornton....likely to stay
Spangher......wont happen ie light size big guy that doesnt play on big bodies
as discussed, Kreuzer likely to play forward next year
Collins will play high half forward/wing
Thanks for that Bluey.
I just missed the interview.
I'm happy with every point made above albeit your interpretation.
I'd hope the Geelong Trade would be a 3rd or even a 4th rounder and not 2nd as reported.
I'd rather have Setanta than Spangher. Ditto TBird. I just hope TBird adapts to the modern game...and quickly.
The addition of Laidley to the Coaching staff would be good news.
