Welcome to Carlton son. Hope you can achieve the same honour at the club as your uncle did in 1979.

Readint the tigers fan site "punt road end" they are filthy at losing Collins, they talk about how popular he is amongst players and the fact he has the rare ability to find time and space and kicked goals in 9 of his last 10 games.
We have really won big with this one!!!!!!
Grigg is lazy and a bad bloke, Collins is a great bloke and has good skills, no doubt at all that this was a win for the blues

Agree. When I heard we got Collins, i thought back to round 15 Sydney vs Richmond, kicked 3 goals in the final quarter to get tigers over the line. Actually last two goals he kicked after going off with concussion.
Can kick, can find the ball, and has courage.
My tiger friends are pissed...they can't work out why they would recruit yet one more player who cannot kick the footy and hit a target. Though to be fair to Grigg he has ability and can win the ball in close...he just can't kick and I don't think that will change to be fair.

We have a cunning plan. Recruit all small forwards in the league and have a monopoly of this area of the game. We tried it this year with ruckmen,

Meant to be gang, just dripping in omens this one.

Nephew of a CFC premiership player Peter Francis (brilliant in 79 granny), from Bendigo (our famous old nursery) and now we have a ready made dangerous half forward who can slot in for the ageing Hoops or do the job Tex did in the Sydney final.

Replaces a self centered flower who grew up barracking for the Bombers even though his mum had the wisdom to barrack for the Blues. Just all wrong.

I wonder if he grew up a Blues supporter?

Spoke reasonably well and seems like a good bloke. He expects to play forward and also time in the midfield but hasn't apart from a brief chat sat down with Ratts. He was surprised when the trade came about but now it has happened is happy and looking forward to playing with the Blues.

Apart from the Swans game I don't know a lot about him but he sounds like a good bloke so im happy we got something for a player who in the end we didnt want.

3 things stick out about this kid:

1. Confident but not arrogant

2. Loyal - unlike hamill Mk2, was shocked he was up for trade.

3. Tough

Welcome mate. I have a good feeling about him
