Thomas in top 10 and Murphy not in top 50, Judd only no. 6. Not sure which game he is watching. Murphy is a mile ahead of Thomas. |

I think his rating is based only on their 2010 performance. Considering Murphy had an injury interrupted preseason and didn't hit his straps until late in the year it is probably fair to have Thomas ahead of him. But yes their is no way Daisy should be top 10. |

This is seriously the WORST ever of Mike's lists. Having said that, congrats to Simpson for getting a bit more of the recognition he deserves. Not too fussed about the Top 10, outside of Thomas/Sandi. Yes, Judd should be ahead of Selwood who is good, but overrated a bit. And I will never agree that Dane Swan is even the best Collingwood player, let alone No.2 and ahead of Judd, Goddard, Hayes, Hodge, Selwood all of whom I would have ahead of him. (But, I accept that others - esp stats obsessed media - think that all possessions are equal...) But, I just can't understand: a) There MAY be an argument to say Thomas has had a better year than Murphy. Maybe. Although I reckon 15 of 16 teams would prefer to have Murphy in their team based on this year's form. That aside... there is NO WAY Thomas is Top 10. Pendlebury must be ahead of him and I wouldn't have Pendles in Top 10 either. b) As distinct from Sandi, who should definitely be Top 10. Probably the most influential player in the AFL and certainly Top 10. c) Didak at 14? Really? No, REALLY??? Ahead of well, everyone else 15 and beyond??? eg. Boyd? Montagna? Franklin? Mundy? Pavlich? Goodes? Deledio (even????) Absolute shite. |

..daisy had a good season, but not even close to top 20, let alone in the top ten.. ..you'll have a hard time findin' a pies supporter that rates him [even just on 2010 form] ahead of pendles.. |

I don't know why anyone takes Mikes Top 50 serious. He'a a right royal flower. Remember this is the same guy who said Judd would struggle to be on his interchange. Now he has him at 6. @#$%&! idiot!! Where's Murphy? Goes to show. Thomas top 10...yeah right. Forget about Sheehan. |

It'll be interesting how Ablett and Selwood get rated over the next 2 years when playing with far less support. Mike always likes to go with premiership players. And particularly those who perform well in big games. So obviously Thomas gets a few ticks there. But I would argue the 4 most important Collingwood players after Swan are Cloke, Maxwell, Pendlebury and O'Brien. I'll be interested to see if Thomas even makes the Collingwood B&F top 10. |

I never usually bother with it but read it today out of interest. The same argument he uses to 'discount' Judd is EQUALLY applicable to Selwood yet he dismisses it. (Goal kicking, kicking accuracy). Best to IGNORE |

Everyone knows Mike loathes Judd and will be the first to criticise him or play down his acheivements. Even James Hird on OTC pointed that out to him one night. |
