With the exodus of players want to leave Carlton, is it because of Ratten as Coach or perhaps the preferences to the new players got over the established players especially denying Fisher his 100 games for the Club? Which I think it was a disgrace and I can’t forgive Ratten for it, I thought it was a mongrel act.

Are you serious?

Jacobs is at best our no.3 ruckman (will only get a game when Kreuzer or Warnock are injured), but will be the no.1 ruck at Adelaide and a number of other clubs. No brainer.

Walker has had an injury riddled career and is looking for a fresh start. Will most likely stay.

Girgg is a scumbag who thinks he's better than he is. Has been offered $100k per year more than us by Richmond.

Thornton is not in our best 22, and not in our plans.

Walker and Grigg are disappointing, but it's not like we're Brisbane.

You'd think Gibbs and Krueze want out by the sounds of it

..Jacobs is a very good ruckman, but he's also very much your old-school type ruckman.. ..while i think he's good/v.good at pure rucking, our current ruck stocks were always gonna squeeze him out.. ..as much as i want him to stay, i can appreciate him wanting to go back home to a club where he is starting ruck.. ..more coin, long deal, good luck to him..

..Walker is supposedly open to a trade, but also open to staying with us by all reports..

..Thorny has been on the outs for a while now, and while i was a supporter, than VFL gf performance was disgraceful from a senior afl player..

..Grigga, supposedly chasing coin and greater [easier] senior gametime..

..not exactly an exodus..

It is hardly an Exodus.

What it does give us is space in the cap for players who who need and want at Carlton.

I like Grigg, Sauce and Walker but they dont look like 17th premiership material to me.

Go Blues!

Not getting Fish to 100 games is not Rattens fault.

Its a combination of a knee injury, Fish not being good enough to get selected and we had to make the finals.

Which game should we have selected him in,? which game was such a lock that we could go into it without picking what was (in the opinion of the MC and lets face it , thats their job) our strongest side.?

You're talking about fringe players.

So the answer to the question and tiltle of this thread: "Fringe Players looking for spots in other teams".

Yes it was a low act to not play Fisher in the Geelong game (which I predicted wrong). Low act imo too.

3 or 4 years ago our fringe players were delisted.

Now other clubs actually want them.

I've got the feeling all year that something wasn't right at the club. There seemed to be a distinct lack of passion and purpose among the playing group. To me this seems like further evidence that there are some issues at the club amongst the players. However I'm not close enough to the club for it to be more than just a feeling.

But on the other hand this might be a good thing. Lets get rid of all these whingers, because if they don't want to be part of what we're building then they're just going to be a negative influence on the rest of the team.

Fringe players wanting fresh starts at other clubs... Nothing more, nothing less...
The way the media are reporting it though, its as if the likes of Judd, Murph and
Gibbs are wanting out...
