We'll fall over at the end. Barassi's a Melbourne hack that we hired with no process and he has no knowledge of structure. We're only back in it because we have a superior list.

It reminds me of that Essendon* game a few years ago when we were down by 7+ goals at half time

I wonder if Teddy ever took note of the number of stats he had that game, if so what his Supercoach score was?

Swan McKay is Kouta-like in defence.

Siren!

Skills might have improved but that was a bloody good game of football. 120,000 Carlton and collingwood supporters there to see it too.

and check it out. Tiggy touchwood umpiring that all players happily accepted without dissent. Quick free kicks to stop packs being formed.

Result? fast flowing game with barley a scrum in sight.

Anyone notice the white line near the wing?

Remember Sun Kick :?:

Loved it when Wallsy kicked that goal in the last which was called touched and he gave it to the goal umpire.
The goal umpire went up to Wallsy and gave it back to him and played continued.
These days, they'd have a sook and penalise him for disputing the umpires decision.

IMO a longest kick comp a la sun kick would be more entertaining than the GF sprint

Ripper game.

Agree about the frees. They were quick on the holding the ball.

The thing about that Carlton team is that they always played like they thought they could win. I think it was a mentally strong team. Loved seeing Serge and Vinny hitting the ball and packs hard.

When Wallsy gave the goal ump some lip, it was Big Nick that cooled them both down.
