Agree Bartel not so sure about another Lloyd.

The biggest problem is, the media can see it, we can see it wtf are our coaches seeing?
A ruck hole that can only be filled by our best inside mid of the past 30 years

I’m at the point where I think they’re so stubborn, they’d rather die on their sword, than evolve.

The checklist tells them they’re doing great.

AFL Level 4 accredited. None finer.

Second halves this season: 8 goals for, 24 goals against

Hope this new fitness guy has us on a continual upward slope because we are absolutely @#$%&! useless at playing 3 quarters, let alone 4.

Damning stat, clubs now know that we will eventually succumb to ongoing pressure.

I mean, I know assistant coaches ONLY get paid slave wages of circa 180k now. So why not bring in a tactical geek who (shocked voice) has never actually played the game but understands trends and data and stats and shit. I don't mean AFL level. I mean some skinny cauliflower who never played past u12 but loves the sport. @#$%&!, there are dudes online who would probably do it for free nuggies and big m from the cafeteria. We just look so dumb. Everyone knows Voss is the rah rah figurehead -why aren't we raging at the 'brains' of the operation

I think the fitness guy is injured.
So the conditioning program is on pause for 1 to 2 weeks

Fair dinkum
This club is going nowhere until we can recruit a half decent beard stroker who knows what he is doing.

Get Bruce Doull on the selection panel
Run a proper process

I saw him chat at a corporate lunch at home game at Marvel a few years back. He looked like a kid who had been made to wash his mouth out with soap and then told to front up to the adults and apologise.

Of course, I have no doubt he would be much more inspiring and engaging doing his actual job, than he was engaging with the people who indirectly pay his bills. /s

Who is he?
What is his role?
He was walking Smith off the ground when he did his ACL in the praccy.
He's obviously in the ear of the players.

Well, it's working great!
My favorite line coach is J.Russell. Our forward superstar from a past era.
How could we go wrong. :smoking:

Luke Power:

Quote:
“While I’d love to be coaching a team and focussing on outcome, it’s not totally that for our players at the moment. It’s about the consistency of being able to grow their game week in week out, and day in day out.”

Exactly why he shouldn’t be coaching the VFL side.

SOMEONE needs to focus on the outcome. Otherwise, you’re coaching a bunch of players that won’t know they’re getting pummelled until three goals turns into seven.

It’s stripping the boys of their drive & determination.
