Troy Selwood ?

He is not the Selwood you're looking for... (apologies to Obi Wan).

But independent of Joel, Nigel Lappin would be amazing.

Nah mate , he is the Selwood i'm talking about . Joel aint going anywhere to do a long and arduous apprenticeship . He don't play second fiddle to anyone . Wherever he goes he will be fasttracked . Within three years he will have a senior gig and that won't be with us coz Voss is gonna be coaching us for a long time .

Everyone needs an apprenticeship.

He might end up at Gold Coast for lifestyle reasons

3AW rumour file today; Joel Selwood to be offered a coaching job at Carlton.
For all we know they may have seen this on BF.
Also a difference between being offered and accepting the job.

So it's on BF and TC. It must be true. :smoking:

Congrats to Luke Power, I suppose?

Hard to know if double duties is up or sideways for him… probably same money either way.

Now we can go find an up and coming Development guru. I’ll personally spew if that’s Joel flower Selwood.

How the hell can Brisbane have a dozen in their coaching group & be under the cap?

They must be getting taxed?

Luke Power is taking over as VFL coach while retaining his position as Head of Development:

The Club will now begin the process of providing the appropriate support around Power in both the VFL and development program.

Hopefully one of the support roles goes to Joel Selwood. Alternatively, Ed Curnow (which would have the added benefit of freeing up a list spot).

I wonder if they are having a chat with David Mundy.

Out of all the retiree's, aside from Selwood, he might be worth having a coffee with to suss him out.

I'm not even averse to getting mundy in an on-field capacity...

Sounds like we need some Mundy's experts to sort this out once and for all.

They should be able to help us out with how the game was lost and how it should have been won.

We must beat Freo at Freo to be a genuine Final 4 contender imo.

Mundy would definitely be able to help us with that, along with his footy IP built over 17 years at AFL level.

Yes...maybe Acres is putting in a good word

Mundy is your old fashioned hard working, no bs, team orientated natural footballer. Reckon he would be a great get!!!

Bring back Ratts.

Luke Power pulling double duties to get under the ridiculous soft cap is dumb.
