I wonder if Lloyd was being hindered by Liddle, and if this was identified in the review?

I’ve been wondering the same thing.

Between Liddle and DT probably.

There seems to have been a focus on player-centred assistant coaches, rather than on the tactical side. Obviously that’s purely an “outside looking in” observation. Hope we got the balance right. In Cook we trust, and all that.

Hopefully when/if we get out of lockdown there will be some open training sessions.

Is Kruezer still the ruck coach?

Apparently Ashley Hanson is good with the ‘technical side of the game’. Whatever that means.

If it means tactics, can only be a good thing.

That's the tactics of the game. The way the bulldogs structure around, in front of and behind the footy is seriously top shelf. Considering the lack of quality talls they have at either end and injuries they copped this year they managed to move the magnets around to win games including big finals. If he can bring some of that thinking across can only be a good thing.

Jay Clark reporting Aaron Greaves set to join Carlton in a development/assistant role.

^^

Are these development roles for him or us?

I.e. we are developing him as an assistant coach, or he is developing our players?

It's effectively Director of Coaching. Similar to Bolton at Collingwood.
