I don't believe Healy just rocks up to his show and gives us his gut feel. I believe he speaks to a lot of people at footy clubs and who are close to the game and develops what appears to be 'gut feel' from that. He was the first person to highlight Clarko's Cluster and also what West Coast was doing. Amongst others

I think Dermott wanted Terry Wallace?

I agree with you re Healy. IIRC he was onto the Bombers peptides stuff before it broke

Hickmott, Collins & Hale to Hawthorn. Newman staying on.
Schofield & Knights to WCE. Graham being hunted by Freo.
Leppitsch & Bolton to Collingwood

Would-a done a darn sight better than the rabble we had/have running the joint.

But he's fat, rich, has orange hair and it's fashionable to dislike him so success simply wouldn't be worth it.

Enright to St Kilda.

Plenty of good assistants on the move.

The Red Pill on BF (one of the more reliable ones I believe) stating Scarlett is a likely AC

If that happened I would be more excited than in a long time. Just looking at his CV of turning suburban/country league players into AFL standard, let alone AA standard, makes me a little bit hard.

Scarlett comes from a successful club with a winners mentality. The perfect person or persons we should be hiring as coaches. By all accounts is also very competent.

Yeah, Red Pill is usually bang on.

Scarlett would be an ideal choice for our defence and I assume Cook already having an influence.

I was keen on Scarlett during the year to get our defensive system functioning.
Great get if it eventuates. However if you were M. Scarlett surely you would want to know who the head coach was going to be before crossing over?

Slightly off topic, but under a Scarlett-run baclkine I'd love to see what 'Gov can do as an intercept mark down there... akin to his brother and what Port have done with Aliir Aliir. Just fill the leading lanes and let Weiters/Jones (and eventually Kemp) do the rest 1-on-1 with the tall forwards.
