Its Mick again,yearning for the old days.The tough nuts in the backroom.George Harris,Laurie Kerr,Bugsie Comben,Wes Lofts.Of course they all werent headkickers.Kevin Hall was pretty big then,as was Barrie Armstrong.Mild mannered men,bot topnotch operators in the engineroom.Reason i mention Barrie Armstrong,i havent heard his name for years.Lots of the old crew get a mention,but this guy seems to be a forgotten man...................anybody have any clues as to what he is up to ? does he have any involvement anymore ? P.S.............another query to those in the know.Our two modern day toughnut backroom boys Dogger and Diesel.Havent heard a peap from them.Are they throwing there weight around behind closed doors ? are they making there presence felt ?.....................as a club,we operate so much better when these types have got a bit of pull.................and dont give me this politically correct due process sorta shit,that aint the Carlton way. |
