At 6pm last night, Chris Judd sent me an SMS to tell me about Saturday's special discount at the Carlton shop. I suggest that maybe if he had been practising his shots at goal instead... we might have won.

Wouldn't be surprised if he has a foot injury that they're keeping quiet. Seems to be able to run OK, but maybe he's getting jabbed and loses feeling in his foot. Has been kicking weirdly for about a month now. |

It's fairly obvious why we lost last night. When you add up the 2 scores, it added up to a higher score than ours. |

James Hird showed some interesting stats on OTC on Monday. I can't remember the exact numbers, but Judd's kicking efficiency is better that Ablett's, and Judd has more of his possessions in contested situations than Ablett. Also players who have 40% or higher of their possessions in contested situations, all have a kicking efficiency of around 60% (Judd's is higher). |

He was challenging Mike Shehan who again was whinging about Judd's kicking and comparing it to Cyril's. Hird put up a stat comparing the kicking % of Abblet, Judd and Rioli, and Judd's was the best, even though he has more contested possessions then the other two... He then asked Shehan to admitt that he's too harsh on Judd to which Shehan agreed.. However, Hird's calls for Shehan to apologise to Juddy for being too harsh on him went unaswred though lol.... |
