Carrazzo is getting killed against top lined opposition. I have seen enough of Carrots against Dane Swan & Gary Ablett that demonstrates that Ratten needs to rotate the tag. Carrazzo can not go with these guys for 4 Qtrs. He will get killed in a final. Who are the alternatives for a relief tag: Gibbs, Joseph Opposition Coaches are going to play 3 big bodied forwards against us in the finals. We need to play O'hailpin down there to have a chance of winning. Jamo, Walker, Bower are too small. Take a Risk Ratts and play the biggest Body we have |

We are about the only side in comp that seems to dedicate one player to tag these blokes - most side rotate players on them |

Carrots did a great job on Ablett whilst he was in the midfield. As soon as he went forward we were going to be in trouble. Ablett is an excellent mark one on one. He has a strong body which he knows just how to position and great hands. I'm not sure who we have that could take him on in that department and win. |

Both good taggers on the ball but exposed down back. |

I think people need to forget about Setanta for this year, he's obviously carrying some sort of injury and would be a liability in any finals this year. |

Two of Ablett's last quarter goals were from crap umpire decisions (a view also backed up by the radio commentators at the time). The holding free kick against Carrots was a joke as replays showed that it was Ablett who was holding Carrots... Alblett's 2nd last qtr goal followed a hands in the back decision that should ve gone our way but because it Ablett, it didnt... |

I'll probably get slaughtered for this opinion, but I believe Carrots is our tipping point player. We will know we have arrived as a team when there is not a space for him in our best 22 - he is our Josh Fraser. A good foot soldier, but would never get a game in Collingwood at the moment or the premiership sides of Geelong or Hawthorn. I love your work ethic, hardness and commitment Carrots, but the day you are not in our best 22 will be the day I rejoice, not because you are over the hill, but the standard of the team is better, and we have taggers who are genuine guns. |

I'm a big critic of Carrots, but tagging is what he needs to be good at and exactly where he should be. He beat one of my favourites in Rich this year pretty easily. His performance against Ablett was 1st class as a tagger. |

Could Joey Anderson play as a tagger? I don't know what kind of tank he has but he's a good size and would be comfortable if dragged deep into the oppositions forward line. |

Gibbs should be an offensive player that forces the opposition to tag HIM. One day he will play that way and people will bow down before me for saying it. ![]() |

I agree with this Andy. I love Carrots...... and he truly bleeds Navy blue...... but he shouldnt be in our best 22...... in my eyes he's much like The Chief...... with a tad more skill. |

Remember your thoughts on his last effort...when he didn't put his head over the ball? I'm surprised you're asking for more disappointment. Sorry to break the news, but he's as good as gawn. |
