I have watched footy at Turf Bar in Queen St on Friday nights its not bad for a sports themed pub. Open to other suggestions though. |

The Turf’s OK (although the bouncers are knobs  )...what always stops me from going to places like that though is the distinct possibility of Carlton haters being there to ruin it for you. The majority of people in Melbourne are going to be barracking for Freo. Always found the Parkview in North Fitzroy pretty friendly in that regard.Would’ve been keen to join you blokes but I’ve got plans. |

Yeah I remember watching the elimination final in a pub last year and we were pretty much the only Carlton supporters there. |
