Good win. Poor start but corrected it well enough. Now come the real tests before September.

Doc tipped the margin I think!

Get your Tatts numbers off Doc and not off me

Glad for such a big win but the opposition wasn't much. I thought last week watching the Tigers/Dees game that Richmond might be done.

Pretty poor crowd too, only 44K.

What I liked was the fact that we finished strongly. We gave them some room in the third but the run & tackling in the last quarter shows that the boys are in the zone right now.

Hopefully we can be competitive with Geelong and the Shockers at the very least because confidence is vital with this lot.

Glad to see Hendo hitting some form up forward and showing some mongral... He showed plenty today to suggest he'll be a pretty handy player to say the least in the future.
Was also rapt to see little Jeffy back up his 6 goal haul last week with 4 more today.. The extra media attention he received during the week didnt seem to bother him one bit..
Waitey kicked another lazy 4, and Eddie could've also had 3 or 4 himself if he'd kicked straight..
Fev who ? lol

Despite the result, I still think Carlton were the better side.

Daniel Jackson would have to be challenging Jake King for the position of Biggest Flower at Feral-Land.

He is a flower on the field, a flower on the sideline, a flower on the interchange, and on the footy show a while back he came across as a right KNOB.

Hope Grigg doesn't cop any punishment for slapping him

Also can anyone remember the last time we played an exciting game against Richmond?

Agreed. It wasn't a pretty game by any means, but very pleased that we ran out the game with 9 goals in the last. That makes 19 goals from our last two final qtrs.

We have to remember the quality of the opposition was poor today and we do have room for improvement. Our goal kicking was poor early on and we won't be afforded such luxuries for the rest of the year.

Time to raise it another level guys.

We won't lose another game this year!

Highlight was Davies tackle on Martin when everyone else failed to hold him one on one.

And after the result and watching the early part of Bulldogs v Geelong I had high hopes.

Geelong then just kicked 11 unanswered goals - yes 11

11 points down to 56 points up in maybe a quarter of footy - actually almost 12 now

Richmond are rubbish - many fumbly mistakes and entry into 50 was woeful. Need to improve drastically against Geelong.

Generally I thought our tackling was poor with a few notable exceptions. Not enough tackles were nailing the player, will need to improve against Geelong.

I think we need to get Billy Connolly in for some one on one with Henderson's sense of humour.

Where will the goals come from without Fevola?
23 today

Warnock, Hendo, and the Champ were superb.

Pick 20 for Warnock looks like magic now!
Lucas and Hendo for Fev :smoking:
Armfield and Judd for J.K. and some (blunt) steak knives in Masten and Notte :smoking:

hey, we're still on the first page. WOW...imagine where we'd be if we'd lost by 15 goals.

No sign of the chicken littles spelling doom for the Carlton Football Club.

If we win 1 more game, do you think we can make the finals? Oh wait....are we there?
