Am I the only one who thinks Carlton isn't all that bad?

Collingwood supporters were expressing that MM should be sacked and they should tank and so and and now look at where they are. On a false rise, but a rise nethertheless. Be optimistic. We have been for 3 years, but not all is lost.

Have faith

I think Cammo will win the Brownlow.

That's what I think.

Love the blues , hate losing but i think i can cop 11 more this year if it means picks 1,2 and PSD 1

I pray we dont have a false rise like the Pies - it's meaningless

Exactly. I'd love to see 5-6 good wins with the young players performing well and driving the success. Its a good sign that says we're travelling ok and aren't that desperate for a PP.

Having said that, if we're not good enough and can't win another 3 games for the rest of the season then we'll get the PP we need. Whichever situation eventuate's will show where we're at.

Personally, I don't think we're as bad as we've showed this season

I don't think we are that bad either, but our position on the ladder says otherwise.

I still think it is largely a mental problem, as evidenced by Fev saying a few things on TFS which indicated the boys have little faith in themselves anymore.

I'm hoping Bryan can be the spark we need to pep this season up a bit.

GO BLUES

Collingwood should be grateful to Malthouse..he got them into two GF's with ordinary teams and almost pinched one from the best team ever assembled in Brisbane.....We need another 5-10 players of which 3 at least have to be champions...add Kernahan , Williams, and SOS at their peak and you have a decent core to build around...

We aren't that bad. Take away the 2 heavy losses to Geelong and Richmond (who were both "on fire" at the time), and nobody has beaten us by more than 25 points.

In last week's game there was a play when Scotland made an ill-directed pass into the forward 50. It was intercepted, and the Swans took the ball up the other end and kicked a goal - a possible 12 pt turnaround.

Think about it - it's only 2 incidents like this over the course of an entire game that can mean 24 points. The improvement needed is not that great that it can't be done.

I dont think were that bad either, were just missing important links that could get us to the finals, e.g. Big defenders.

So we know what to draft next year.

Looking at our level of injuries this year....we are that bad.
No excuses.
Great players palying well
Good players playing ordinary
Ordinary players playing badly
New players learning to play in the big time.

Can't get it happening with the above alll happening. I don't agree that we simply don't have the talent. If you look at it, Collingwood made two GF with a "talentless" side.
If everyone is playing as well as they can, and everyone is available (not injured) then you'll find that almost any team is hard to beat. Collingwood had both coincide in 2002/3. We've had the latter but not the former this year.
