Why not just go for a better deal at Dome?

Because our membership base will not grow past the maximum seating capacity

Yet you have been going on for years to redevelop Princes Park

For the record I don't mind Etihad Stadium

yes - im happy to develop PP

our current board wont do it

Thank God. Now that we know that you want them to develop it to beyond 56,000 capacity, where do you think they'll get the billion dollars from?

Trigg said 55 million at the last agm
I can guarantee that the current board would not put their own one cent on the joint ...but they want the prestige if any by being on the board

Stratosphere away from playing AFL games there. No fresh lick of paint, just a lot of dust on the seats.

I don't think selling out an AFLW game there that would have entertained 35,000+ at Etihad or MCG means its viable.

Richmond, Carlton pitch for multimillion dollar stadium upgrades

Quote:
And in a separate development, the AFL has begun detailed research into the future of its new national women's league, with Carlton's Ikon Park emerging as the proposed home of AFLW, potentially boasting an upgraded 20,000 to 25,000-seat stadium, with 70 per cent of that being undercover.

The prospect of Carlton's old home again hosting AFL games remains on the table.

Won’t get much change out of $10million after they upgrade the lights.
