If PP had decent parking and if PP had anything like the blessing of the council, I believe it would have been developed years ago. The property is worth billions and one day in the future when the cemetery's time is up, there will be some serious pressure on the government of the day to redevelop that entire precinct. The MCG would be a great home ground for us if we played there like Collingwood, thirteen times a year but we have to accept that Collingwood, Hawthorn and Geelong are going to get a huge future advantage from having an actual home ground. Maybe North in Hobart. Then we have the interstate clubs. We are now a second tier consideration for the AFL and will be treated as such until such time as we can generate 75,000 members and can drag punters through the gate. |

Heavs wrote: Have you been playing around on Bigfooty Mr Mosquito Fleet? Hilarious Princes Park thread there that has your fingerprints all over it. Anthony Koutoufides and his son tried to anonymously drum up a protest to get football back at Princes Park. They would have succeeded too if it were not for three things, no plan, grammar and spelling. They were found out pretty quick, one of the funniest things I have ever seen on a footy forum. |

Go onto the Carlton board on BigFooty, and look at page 10 onwards of the thread 'Is a return to Princes Park possible?' Kouta is posting as 'Southby' and his son as 'DaDaDaDaDa'. Utterly bizarre stuff. |

No team based at Etihad will ever win a flag. |

I am pleased to report that my theory has now been disproven to a degree: 2001 Brisbane - Gabba 2002 Brisbane - Gabba 2003 Brisbane - Gabba 2004 Port Adelaide - AAMI 2005 Sydney - SCG 2006 West Coast - Subiaco 2007 Geelong - Skilled 2008 Hawthorn - MCG 2009 Geelong - Skilled 2010 Collingwood - MCG 2011 Geelong - Skilled 2012 Sydney (SCG) 2013 Hawthorn (MCG) 2014 Hawthorn (MCG) 2015 Hawthorn (MCG) 2016 Western Bulldogs - Etihad Apart from the exceptional first year of 2000 with Essendon** (read the thread), having a home ground at Etihad can generate a Premiership. It all about good Club Boards that makes the correct decisions |

With the sale of Etihad to the afl carlton if they have any spine should be pushing hard to get out of Etihad and get to the mcg for all home games. A big test for the president and board |

Now that we know that you want them to develop it to beyond 56,000 capacity, where do you think they'll get the billion dollars from? |
