I know I may be getting ahead of myself here but the ruck combo at the blues is looking very promising.

Warnock, 2 very good games in a row, and last night proved to be devastating with his height advantage, havn't seen tapout like that for the baggers in a long time. He SHOULD be persisted with as no.1 ruckman even with Kruze back in.

Hampsons leap allowed him to get a few great taps in too, whilst his marking is coming along nicely with confidence growing. He is one of the quickest blokes for his height I have ever seen and was very damaging last night.

The question I wish to pose for next year is I believe we should play all 3 in the team.

MK up forward, with stints in the ruck, playing a Kosi type role mainly played as a forward though!!!!!! With Hampson also playing as a forward either rotating with MK or rotating with warnock around the ground, with one ruckman rotating on and off the bench. Hammer and MK are unbelievably agile and quick for ruckman and could pose serious damage around the ground, especially with Kruze's disposal being quite good.

Thisd would be a nightmare for other teams and I believe with their athleticism they could pull it off.

The three would be walk up starts imho.Forget about this balance crap.Get on the front foot and create an imbalance for the opposition. Two great bigmen is good, but three good bigmen is better.

Jacobs must be wondering where his future now lays.
It's not like he's done a heck of a lot wrong.
How quickly things change at this level.
(Wonder if he likes sunshine?)

Compared with the rucks in the Geelong–Collingwood match we are blessed.

In terms of ruckman my order is clearly Kreuzer, Warnock, Jacobs. Hammer can be traded.

Why trade one? What's wrong with a bit of cover, and keeping them all honest?

Still no love for Hampson Rafa?

I like Jacobs but havent seen him do anything like what Hampson has bee doing lately. Jacobs is a good tap ruck ,tidy as a link through the middle and not bad second efforts but cant get to half as many marking contests and Hampson and cant hit the scoreboard like Hampson.

Id traded Sauce. Will be sad to see him go.

I haven't seen Hampson take marks in the defensive goal square or on the flank as the kickout target for JR. Jacobs has footy smarts, marking and great tap work already and he has plenty of upside to his game also.

I haven't seen Jacobs drop back in a final and spoil Bradshaw to help out his teammates.

I haven't seen Sauce chase two defenders down and turn it over to create a scoring chance for Garlett.

I haven't seen Sauce win the tap, charge forward and mark to kick a goal from CHF.

I haven't see Sauce chase Dale Thomas for 50 metres plus and pressure his kick.

I haven't seen Sauce run down midfielders.

Hampson is the better prospect.

All bodes well for trade value this year.

Otherwise if we keep all 4, if a suitable trade is not found, then that's OK, too!!

Jacobs would be the one to let go, but only for a suitable trade. If we could get GC to give up a pick in the top 20 and a latter pick, I say do it, otherwise no go.

Warnock - We know what he can do now
Hammer - Still learning but his upside is so strong it would be ridiculous to let him go. Any guy that mobile for his height needs to be persisted with and simply keep playing
Kreuze - Will be one of the, if not the best big man of his generation

I also think we should play all 3. People said we couldn't play all the aboriginal forwards as well, you need to utilise your strengths and 3 very mobile bigmen would be a massive advantage.

Mind you Jacobs would be a regular starter at the following clubs:

Geelong
St Kilda
Hawthorn
Melbourne
Richmond
Port Adelaide
Adelaide

Could possibly add Collingwood to the list, as he would certainly be ahead of Wood and Fraser.

Lets just hope if/when we trade one, it isn't a debacle like the last time we traded out a ruckman (Mark Porter, kept the wrong bloke in Matthew Allan and got Corey McKernan!)

Thank you for rendering the years of hypnotherapy I'd undergone to repress that era useless.

Was never a fan of Ackland or McLaren but I thought DeLuca and French tried hard for the club.

"If" the interchange rotations cap's come in, as I hope they do, then this area is one that will need abit more list management by all.

Too me right now, CFC are placed magnificently here and with a great advantage in that 3 of our 4 ruckman can play ruck / forward!

I would be trying to keep all four on our list however because the 4th ruckman is need for depth but if he gets courted by another club ... well it's upto the other club to pay top dollar not us. That is the way we should be looking at this, nothing less than our advantage.

We should persist with Kreuzer Hampson and Warnock in my opinion and see what's on offer for a Jacobs trade.

There surely has to some young talented raw ruckmen out there in the lower leagues who we could pick up and develop as a mature aged rookie.

Preference 1: Keep all 4. Play Warnock, Hampson, Kreuzer; Jacobs in reserve.
Preference 2: Trade Jacobs for Top 20 draft pick.

Worried about Hampson going to GC.
(Also worried about Grigg, btw... well, either or. Happy to risk Fisher going... but think we need to ensure Hampson AND Grigg stay with us. IF one of them has to go, I'd prefer to allow Grigg to go - Hampson too valuable.)

+1

Of the three, Sauce has the least upside but he's still a great pick up for another team ... a real solid senior level ruck option.
