Q3. Carlton will stage a 'comeback' of sorts, kicking the first 3 goals of the quarter. Essendon* will then finish the quarter with the last 5 goals. 6.10 to 17.8

Q4. Essendon* will only kick a couple of goals to Carlton's 4, but it'll be too little too late.......again. Final score 10.14 to 19.11

CARLTON gain possession and 50 metres... Warnock handed the ball. He takes all the time in the world and launches from 50 - siren... Hurley marks the kick but it is game over - BLUES by 3 points
