Do you want to be remembered at Carlton for "going through the motions" and just being an AFL listed player? or do you genuinely aspire to add your name to a team that is remembered forever for the premierships they won together and will work as hard as you can to reach that pinnacle? Whether you're pick 1 or pick 100, you're all the same now and have one common goal - to make finals and win premierships. It takes hard work and a lot of mental toughness. HARDEN THE !@#$%& UP.
You have 4 weeks left in the season to make an impact, starting against another arch rival this Friday night. Whether you make the finals from here is irrelevant to me. I want to see nothing but HARDNESS at every contest - EVERY CONTEST. If it's your turn to go, you !@#$%& GO. And if you happen to win enough games to make the finals, then read this post again at the beginning of September to restart your brains.
