Yes, all of you. All in it together. As a team, you have been nothing but ordinary over the past 8 weeks. The sort of performances you've been dishing up has actually put us supporters off going to watch you play. You play like princesses. Come to think of it, princesses would give you a run for your money based on what you dished out at the MCG on Saturday. Whilst we all don't like to lose, we can accept an honourable loss if you at least show some heart and HARDNESS mentally and physically. If there are factions among this list or within the club, you will be found out, and will no longer be there at years' end. If you think being on our list or being employed at Carlton gives you a wage and prestige, then it won't last. You either capitalise on the wage and privilege, or leave. Do you want to be remembered at Carlton for "going through the motions" and just being an AFL listed player? or do you genuinely aspire to add your name to a team that is remembered forever for the premierships they won together and will work as hard as you can to reach that pinnacle? Whether you're pick 1 or pick 100, you're all the same now and have one common goal - to make finals and win premierships. It takes hard work and a lot of mental toughness. HARDEN THE @#$%&! UP. You have 4 weeks left in the season to make an impact, starting against another arch rival this Friday night. Whether you make the finals from here is irrelevant to me. I want to see nothing but HARDNESS at every contest - EVERY CONTEST. If it's your turn to go, you flower GO. And if you happen to win enough games to make the finals, then read this post again at the beginning of September to restart your brains. Next time you look in the mirror, take a good hard long look at yourself, and decide whether you want to be part of the Carlton Football Club and be successful at this club. Pardon the pun, but the ball is your court. You decide!! |

Agree with your theme Wangers Princesses? I have a few names for some players: Murphy & Gibbs - popstars - No 1 selections who play as outriders and have the audacity to wait for a Judd to feed the ball out to them. Go get it yourself. Carrazzo - fortunate son - poor skills, lacks pace but won a B&F and is first to be picked each week and a spokesman for our club? Henderson - gonzo - a Half forward flanker in a centre half forwards body, all we ask for is a contest son. |

RE: Henderson - you must be kidding, yes? the kid, yes KID, is 20 years old, in his second year of footy, and for me is showing some great signs such as working hard, chasing, putting his head over the ball etc. How many others can this be said for? Give the promising kid some bloody time. all we ask for is some patience, rod! |

Totally agree with Wangers ….. then there's the issue that Ratts spoke about at the Press Conferenece ….. about damaging the brand. You guys, and as Wangers said, all of you have got a lot of work to do in the next 4 weeks and I'm not talking about finals. There's major sponsors out there who must be embarrassed at forking out large sums of money to keep you guys employed whether directly or indirectly. There's some negotiating to be done there to keep them onside. If you're looking for new sponsors then good luck. There's 40,000 paying members (read disillusioned members) that you have to convince to hand over their hard earned cash yet again because you need our help OR because you want us to become believers ….. come on …. get serious. There's tens of thousands of other supporters Australia wide that pay at the gate or watch on TV or listen to the radio or just ask someone they know … 'how did the Blues go today?' You can't afford to lose their support as well. Don't call us fickle …… if you want us to turn up then you guys turn up. |

You should put this in a memo and get Juddy to sign it. ![]() |
