Why is it that b4 every game, supporters and maybe coaches make matchups in the midfield. Why can't the whole midfield be considered one. Instead of carrazo maybe tagging a swan or a gibbs tagging goodes and so on...why can't it be the carlton midfield versus the opposition. Attack as a unit and defend with hard pressure as a unit. For the last six weeks or so you see players like judd, murphy, simmo and gibbs following their opposition players. All the have in mind is defending. On the other hand, eddie betts comes in and has sight only for the ball and that why his our best clearance player by number. We have a talented midfield who should play football the natural way and back their instincts. Nonw their too afraid to attack. Against the pies today at one stoppage in our attacking 50, judd was trying to get to luke ball and had his back to the ball...why do that when your probably the better clearance player...get the ball...F**K luke ball. |
