Loydy has a lot to say about how poor our forward line structure is. He even provides some suggestions how to fix it. I agree with him. ![]() Lets get him on the coaching panel!!! He also calls it how he sees it. I don't think he believes Murphy is much of a team player. Selfish comes to mind. |

Carlton players don't get free shots on goal for diving. Therefore Monga would be of no use to us |

How about we get Aker down to help with kicking on the run. |

Lloydy was a big wrap for Hammer, but mentioned his need for softer hands. Thought straight away that Lloydy as a specialist coach could be a coup. I agree completely DIAMOTISM. Do it Sticks/Ratts! |

He fits what we need on a coaching panel perfectly. |

At this point anyone is an improvement on lappin. But I agree, Lloyd is impressive as an expert commentator. |

Yeah, but commenting on player faults and actually being able to rectify them are two very different things. I concur with the general consensus that we would probably benefit from a tall forward coach though. |

Maybe we could get Fev. He could teach Hendo how to smash into team-mates' kidneys, improve the guys' goal celebrations, and apparently, he's good with the kids. |

We need to make changes in the coaching area . Forward coach seems like a good place to start . I liked Lappin as a player ; not so sure about his coaching though . I don't think Lloyd would be interested in coming to Carlton . Carey would be my choice . |

Llody has great Carlton roots, wore his old mans hallowed number and I would think he is better than nothing (our current situation) so let's look at lots of people and if he is the best and wants it, why not. He is certainly much more articulate than lots of guys at footy clubs. |

As someone who used to watch his old man going around, I'd love Lloydy at our club. He is grossly underrated by Carlton people because of his perceived being favoured by Umps. But anyone who kicks almost 1000 goals knows what he's doing. And he was tougher and harder at it than most of us give him credit for. The question is whether he'd be a good coach, but he's certainly articulate, intelligent, and knowledgable; got the most out of his albeit great ability, played under a good teaching coach, played in a premiership team. All necessary (but not sufficient viz Tim Watson, Royce Hart, Kevin Bartlett) conditions. |

A couple of posters here said a long time ago that Hammer should soften his hands. Why wasn't it done then? ![]() Let's appoint those posters co–forward coaches.. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
