Can't wait to see him back firing in 2011. He's shown some good signs already.

Season over for Kane Lucas Quote: YOUNG Blue Kane Lucas is set to miss the rest of the season after suffering a hamstring injury last weekend. Lucas suffered a tear in his left hamstring during the second quarter of last Sunday’s match with Sydney at Etihad Stadium. Carlton football manager Steven Icke said rehabilitation would be Lucas’ major focus in the short term to ensure his long-term future is not at risk. Has been really good for us this season. All the best for his recovery. |

Does he have any history as junior of having hammy issues ? I hope gets right. He looks a very good player. |

He does look a very good talent. Smart move to put him away for next year. Hope the tear is not too bad. |

The kid's not a bad size and shape already, but I want him looking like a bag of marbles next year. He's good in close, has time and doesn't panick. Not super quick, but a much better close action prospect than McLean or Gibbs long term. |

good call. don't risk the kid especially with a hammy. get it right and have a big pre season. we need his poise and ball use. hopefully guys like him, okeefe, austin, touhy, kerr, davies, casboult, tiller & donaldson will really step to the plate in 2011!

Had a chat to Kane at the Carlton Junior footy clinic a couple of weeks ago. Top guy. Was more than happy to chat and hung around as long as the kids wanted to sign autographs and pose for pics etc. I have some pics from the day, which i can put up ... if someone can tell me how to upload pics here! |
