no chasing your man either Juddy, cause you like to sit back and let your man scoot away and hope for a turnover and your free for the ball on the way out.

There, I said it....

No footballer in the AFL is perfect. Does Judds' positives outweigh his negatives???

BY A FREAKING MILE!!!!

Move on Bosman & Fraser Murphy........

I'm not disagreeing with the point you make. That's why he's considered one of the best players in football right now.

But he doesn't chase.

In saying that I'm not heaping the blame for Sunday's loss on Judd's massive shoulders.

I'm just saying that, by and large, Judd doesn't chase opponents.

I think we would be a better team if everyone had Garlett's attitude towards chasing opponents. Chris Judd doesn't get an exemption just because he's good at other things.

I'm loathe to criticise Judd because he is a great player and we ask him to do so much.

However it must be said the defensive aspects of the game are not his strong suit. For mine, he has plenty of room to improve in this area. He barely offers a token chase at times.

That being said, we certainly offer very little assistamce for him in the trenches and he cops an absolute battering every single game. I can therefore understand why he maybe escapes any reprimand for his poor application of defensive skills.

We need more pressure??
How about "if we win we go close to top 4 and if we lose we drop dangerously close to out of the 8"

so if we had a 100 goal year full forward who never chased his opponent out of the backline and allowed his opponent to link to create the loose man and the other team always scored a goal from it, in your eyes that is OK because the positives outweigh his negatives because our FF scored 100goals the they only ever got 80 goals running off him, thats OK, its a positive result...

Judd's too busy getting the hard ball and the clearance for his mates.
How can he possibly defending when he's doing all that hard stuff?

yes sometimes he could chase but you would not want him chasing like garlett cos then he'd have no energy left for the grunt work and the burst free work. Our problem is that the opposition know that when Judd's man gets free no one will make it their task to help Judd out, Watch Geelong, St Kilda, Collingwood - watch how Ablett's man is often covered by another player. We are shit at the team stuff.

Thats Juddy's average for this season, not for the game.

At the Eagles he was averaging around 78%

Game was a lot more open back in 2002-2006. I think any player that played then and is playing now would currently have a lower percentage.

Having said that his kicking is off this year and late last year too.
