It doesn't work, I thought we were 0-9.

Assuming we make the finals I don't care where we finish as long as it means not playing Hawthorn.

@#$%&! that. I want to play hawthorn. for a few reasons, firstly you wont get any easy games in the finals anyway.

secondly if we are ever going to beat this mob it may as well be in a final.

thirdly, we well and truly owe them one.

fourthly on current form they will go in as the heavy favourites and media darlings they usually are.

we beat st kilda by 61 points and Geelong by 36 points. we are good enough to beat hawthorn if we come to play.

an MCG final against the hawks would be 80K plus. massive.

that ladder predictor is pretty facinating.

I managed to sneak us into 4th with a 60 point win at subi (the only result i changed from 12 points), only for the bullies to get there with the last game of the home and away season beating the dons. percentage is crucial and i feel we have only our selves to blame with some heavy losses and not getting % boosters over the eagles and lions.

it really is wide open from 4th to 8th - especially with everyone seemigly expecting freo to slide a bit with barlow going down and last nights loss to freo and geelong doing us a favour yesterday.

feels like the only genuine contenders are Geelong, Stkilda and Collingwood with Hawthorn and dark horse.

massive 8 point game today. top 4 really tough for the loser.

I did the predictor every week last year. This year feels different, like it has been expected all along that we'd make the eight hence more concern about whether we can make top four or not. Will be highly disappointing if we miss the finals.

surley we wont miss the 8.

North are the only other contender and are a game and big % behind us.

I guess adeliade are now only 2 games back but also but still over 20% behind us.

the wheels would have to fall off pretty badly to miss the 8.

top 4 i think is about a 20% likleyhood while missing the 8 about a 10% chance.

hope we dont have to travel to perth or sydney in the first week of the 8.

would be weird playing freo twice in a row - especially if both games are in perth

Well be lucky to make the 8, if we do it will be by default

Would be funny as @#$%&! if Richmond come 9th but haha

While I want to make the 8, we would be doing an Essendon* 2009. We will sneak in, make up the numbers and convince ourselves of our potential, when the reality is we are likely to crash and burn in the next few years

After the apocalypse era....I never thought I would again be wishing for our club to lose...

BUT...here we go again !

If it means, the blind freddie board members will be forced into action...well, whatever it takes !!!!!!!!!!

I hope the team/club are not getting caught up on making the finals.

We need to strip it right back ala Hawks earlier in the season when they were in a form slump. Take it one contest at a time and focus on the basics and working our way up from there.

Id be happy to see us get back to playing decent football. The results should take care of themselves.
