Not a long interview and pretty standard stuff;
-Thought Scotland could win the B & F
-Had a few scars from being the supporters whipping boy early on but is fine with it all now.
-Was glad Pagan and Ratts supported/believed in him.
-Said our good was very good but our bad was not too good.
-The most asked questions he gets by supporters are did you hear the latest Fev rumour.
-Thought it was a win win with the Fev trade.

Cheers PPW. Nice to hear he's more comfortable with the external pressures. :smile:

LOL, it would be classless to dump on Pagan and seem like sour grapes. Sure Pagan believed in him, after all, he gave him so much gametime!! :lol: :thumbsup:

You mean it would be classless to do what Kouta did? Or what Jesse Smith did?

You can't have it both ways. You can't point to players who launch into him and then say you can't rely on those who don't. I'd say that JR would feel it would be pretty safe to dump on Pagan - it's not like he'll find that Pagan ends up coaching him again as happened to poor old Corey McKernan :lol:

In fact, it's a time-honoured practice for players to praise the current coach at the expense of the past coach, and doing so certainly wouldn't raise eyebrows or hackles in the AFL industry. Failing to do so is perhaps more notable as a result.

Well he is not alone out there no doubt, but at least he has come through it and is on the verge of 100 games, more than the whippers could ever dream of.

I know how he feels. I have similar scars from battling the JR haters for the past 5 years. :wink:

But the medication is helping and the pain has all been worth it. :hitcomputer:

Never was anti-Russell.

I hate the Warnock and Mclean trades though.

Players like Russell, Walker, Hendo should never be whipping boys.. questioning their talent at afl level is a fair assesment...

My whipping boys are overpriced hacks/

Do you well abuse at them during games if they make a mistake?
