Second time this season we've had a night game before a working day. Do we like it or not?

I'd lobby for us to have all our games on Monday considering on both our Monday games this year we have dispatched of last years Grand Finalists comfortably

I don't mind Thursday night footy - only one more working day of the week.

Monday night was a bit of a drag though, and if we'd lost it would have been a really crappy start to the week.

Great from a TV perspective, crappy from an attending perspective, IMO.

I hate night football. I really hate night football on a thursday/monday. In fact I'm beginning to think the end is nigh and I might start using weekends to visit galleries etc and just forget football except as a TV event. Just getting old and grumpy (actually always been a tad grumpy).

While nights are good for me as I have very young children, Thursday night sux. I hate going to work in the morning, then the next day, plus i have to help get the babies in bed before I go so I often miss the first quarter

That's my take as well, I don't mind it as long as we're not playing.

Being a primetime sport now we'll have to get used to these timeslots.

I'd prefer Monday nights but in the end we'll damn well play when Vlad damn well tells us to play!

Trialling Thursday and Monday night football for when we have 9 games a week Warby.

Options for the ninth game are

Thursday night
A second Friday night game
Saturday twilight (we trialled that late last season v Melbourne)
Monday night

Not sure we can do anymore Sunday football so it needs to be one of those.

And if you're thinking we're getting picked on to trial these options, someone mentioned before the St Kilda game we offered to trial them.

We may have to get used to playing these timeslots, but it doesnt take away our right to say no, not going. I'll be working in Shepparton , so what choice do I have, so NO I CHOOSE NO :banghead:
