Had a chuckle this morning reading the 50/50 SMS section in the Herald Sun.

It wrote,

"I hear Wog Boys 2 is very funny if Carlton supporters need cheering up".

I believe we are the team that everyone is beginning to fear. So when we slip up they just cant wait
to get in and take a swipe at us.

Are we the most hated team & supporters in the AFL ?

Would say Collingwood are the most universally hated team in the competition.

Carlton are hated, but not as much as Collingwood.

I agree though, the reason people are making these statements is because we've shit right in their faces in regards to how we'd go this year. Almost everyone went with the "no Fev, no Carlton" theory, and now they must find anything they can to support their claim.

Screw 'em.

I think we are, even our own supporters hate us after a loss.

Tommi, there will always be an undercurrent of that stuff in this country. It's ingrained

Though, for Nick and Vince to keep flogging this slant is pathetic though

SEN are currently running a bizarre add for UD Trucks where supposed commentators describe Nic Del Santo bursting through a pack of Carlton players to kick a winning goal. (funnily I can`t remember him getting a kick when we recently thrashed them)
Not sure of the link between that and buying a truck, but that loss to us must really be hurting.

And again in todays Herald Sun, 50/50 SMS section.

"A huge number of Carlton "supporters" left the game early on Sunday. Can't
do the players confidence much good when so many fans walk out when the going gets tough".

Once again, they target Carlton supporters, even though this could have been written by a Carlton supporter.

So dont tell me that supporters from the 15 other clubs dont do the same thing. I know a couple
of Richmond supporters who dont even go to games cause they dont see the point of going.

The HUN hates us. It's nothing new.
Probably even Terry McCrann and Andrew Bolt write anti-Carlton sports stories under other names.

Just lap it up! They all talk about us because they're jealous.

Pfft supporters of every club leave early if their team is getting pounded. Saints fans were leaving in droves during final quarter of the Blues Saints game and filth fans were caught on TV sidling out of the MCG on Friday night.

I leave early when we get pounded, I'd leave a really bad movie too it's the same thing and that way i get to get on the train much easier. I'm not finding it enjoyable so why would i stay?

FWIW, some people even leave early when we're in front too. A lot of it is to do with getting home easier. Each to their own I guess.
