Fantastic news.

Great reward for a player who continues to improve, and is proving to be an invaluable member of the team.

Keep up the great work, Jordan!

MY BOY. Just made my week, was worried he was exactly the kind of player new teams snap up (young-ish, coming off by far his best year)

$2million up front for the gold coast is what i'm hearing was on the table.

Good signing. Happy he's proved so many of us wrong.

If that is true, no wonder the world is as stuffed as it is.

Great new about Russell.
Has Robinson shown enough to justify a 2 year contract??

Did JR really showed enough in his first two years? Have faith, Robbo has the talent and plenty of room for development.

Fair point but I don't think Robinson has the pace to take him to the next level

Fantastic news, word was that GC17 did offer him a 3 year contract.
Good on Robbo too.
Now we just need Gibbs, Yarran, Betts and Garlett to sign up.

how far has this kid come? from a shy, crappy skills, 'wanna go home to SA' to a reliable, confident (even has his own segment on cfc tv), proud carlton player.

i dont know who to pat on the back, russell for maturing or ratts for persisting with him. probably both

Reading this article, and the fact that discussions with Robbo commenced during the NAB Cup, is it any surprise that Gibbs has yet to finalise his contract?
