ESPN2 is showing the Carlton vs Hawthorn game live for fans in the USA, commencing Saturday evening at midnight EDT (9pm pacific time). This is the first ESPN live TV coverage of an AFL game for 2010.

For fans in Canada, the game is live on TSN2, which is showing one live game per week (and it appears one different replay game per week available for 48 hours in the VOD section of their tsn.ca website, although it is a bit difficult to work out exactly what they are doing on that site as there is no schedule explanation, and the weekly replay games seem to get mis-labelled).

AFANA reports that they are expecting, or hoping for, a bigger audience on ESPN2 than that for the 2009 Grand Final.

For the geographically challenged amongst us, Mexico is also part of North America.

And for those in Asia, NZ or the Pacific, the hawthorn game is being shown by Australia Network Television. Check www.australianetwork.com for the schedule, in Thailand it is live.

well, the delay in getting the match replay from aussiesport.tv is another matter.

"Perform Group Ltd". Ha! There is a misnomer if ever there was one.

I watched the 2009 GF on ESPN Classics in my hotelroom in San Fran. I have to say the picture quality on US TV was awful. But then again the same with the ESPN channel here (not HD obviously -that's awesome).

The picture quality for the Collingwood game on TSN2 HD was excellent.

I thought I saw a tall blond guy in a red white and black jumper crying if that helps you.
