What a great result!!! :smoking:

I missed the two injuries. Heard that Hoops did a hammy, but who/what was the other injury?

Our most important win in years. Great effort after looking flat early. Port were good today.
Army and Carrots were fantastic.

So much to like about that effort. Disappointing that Waite had the brain fade. That is not being tough, just dumb!

I thought we were gone......a few times.

Great result. Gutsy, gutsy win.

Shame about the injuries and Waite (he'll miss a few for that unfortunately)

Waite will be done for 3. Silly stuff!

There was a lot of bad blood in this game, it was so intense but we managed to hang in there and somehow run away with it.

Kreuzer BOG, how good was he today? His ruckwork could get better but Brogan could not get anywhere near him around the ground. Armfield was superb too with his job on Pearce!

All he had to do was keep the shoulder tucked in  Ah well, come on down Hendo. Mitch in for Sugar.

Bloody gutsy win!!

Make no mistake this win will be huge for us - Port were hard at the contest and were desperate to win - they are not a bad side either.

We are becoming a good side now, great to watch!!

GO BLUES!! :smoking:

Seemed like a really gutsy win. Almost as satisfying as last week. We've often been flat the week after a good win, so it's good to capitalise in these sorts of games.

Now onto the Hawks

(Bill = Essendon* btw)

HUGE WIN!!!!!

Make no mistake this is as good a victory as the Catters and Saints in the past few weeks!
We are vastly becoming a force again and I am so freaking excited!!!

Even the news on Lucas and Waites report won't be wiping the smile off my face tonight

Great effort to dig deep and respond in the second half.

Even better to crush Port Adelaides spirits into their own dunghill turf!

Did Houlihan get injured too? Bit of a test of our depth next week.

Great win after playing ugly for most of the game.

K.Simpson is as important as C.Judd.

Starting to run a few wins together now. A great sign. Injuries and Waites overwhelming lack of control could still hurt us, but looking forward to hopefully getting one back over the Hawks. Maybe a light week on the track is needed to get the boys up and full of running for next week.

Taff - Absloutely awesome effort mate. Really didn't look they were going to get there for much of the day. 3 goals to Kreuzer and Setanta will do both their confidence the world of good.

YES, a nice win after some poor performances for the first 3 quarters,,,,,,,

Does this mean we only need 1 quarter to beat Port Adelaide ?
