Anyone know of the whereabouts of any other past club greats?

If they were last seen around Lance at dinner time, I've got a fair idea

Walked out on Lalor because they dropped him to the 2nds because he didn't attend a training session. (didn't give notice)
Its amazing to think that he was once the captain of our club---thats how shite we were in our judgements

Lance was a fantastic player for us,
and I hope he does end up coaching if that is his dream.
He certainly has the smarts for it.
Good luck with all your endeavours Lance.

He would be on more than that surely. Gary Moorcroft is playing for Romsey and is apparently on 1k a game

Mate if thats all he's on he should come to Sydney and join Balmain - Nick Davis is rumoured to be on $1000 a game and doesnt train, he flys in and out for games, just eats KFC and plants himself in the goal square. Funny thing is they also have recruited Saddington, Fosdike, Chad Fletcher, Tim Schmit and brother all on big dollars yet they dont expect them to actually earn their money so Lance would love it. Not joking about performing either they were defeated last week 241 to 16.

There are quite a few players who could play VFL or equivalent that choose to play in the suburban leagues. A lot of suburban league clubs can pay a lot more than most VFL clubs could pay.

When you see players who've never played at AFL level getting $200-300 per game in bush leagues then $1000-2000 for an ex-AFL player in suburban leagues doesn't actually sound that amazing.

I know my old team the Cobram Tigers in the Murray league were paying Darren Bradshaw (Daniel's brother) almost $2,000 per game a couple of years ago.

He had kicked over 100 goals in nearly every season since he left the Brisbane Lions, in the QAFL, SANFL and Ovens & Murray League, however couldn't get the ball enough in weak team, so left mid-season to go back to Wodonga. Probably saved the club from bankrupcy!

It's quite common for good players in strong country leagues to be paid that well

Good to see he's lost a bit of his playing weight from his Carlton playing days

In his final years when he was struggling with his weight, Lance weighed somewhere between 100kg and 105kg. What do you reckon he weighs now?!? 130kgs would be not be far off I reckon. Fair way towards 300 pounds in the old money!

Those bike shorts are to stop the footy shorts from disappearing up his arse crack.

Note to J. Roughead. Take a good look at the future.
