I just messaged a friend of mine to see if he wanted to meet up for a beer at halftime today and got a reply that he would be in the collingwood social club today.

How the @#$%&! have collingwood been allowed to own a prime section of the MCG exclusively for their own use whenever they are playing at the G. This is a section that is only accessable by collingwood social club members when they are playing. more exclusive than mcc members.

This is a bloody disgraceful state of affairs and just one more in a long list of reasons to hate collingwood.

The only good thing is that with a bit of luck we can bare witness to mass skunk suicide off their exclusive little section
flowers!!!

Pretty sure Greg Swann was the architect behind that deal

what's more of a disgrace is that the powers that be decide to do train works on a weekend knowing that they are expecting thousands of people to the G and ES and can only manage to supply pathetic bus services..

melbourne public transport is embarrassing.

My hubby is a Collingwood social club member, they have by far the best deal at the MCG.
He sits right behind the goals in the Ponsord stand, second level for both home and away games.
Yesterday the whole Ponsford stand was full of Collingwood and it felt like it was their home game at times.
Wonder if Swanny was responsible for such a good deal?

I remember reading somwhere once that Elliott was offered some deal similar to Collingwood's for us to switch our games to the 'G, but chose for us to stay at OO and play in front of a mostly empty Legends Stand...

When is our stadium deal next up for negotiation/renewal? Time for Swan to earn his pay when the renegotiation comes around?
